COVID-19

As an essential health care service our Podiatry sessions are continuing as normal.

We consider you part of the First in Feet Podiatry family and your health remains our highest priority. As you are aware, this current situation we face is dynamic and constantly changing. Please be assured that we are continuously being updated by our professional associations and governing bodies.

Being dedicated to the business of healthcare, it’s important to keep you, our patients informed about our policies and procedures. The First in Feet Podiatry team abide by these on a daily basis in order to maintain a sanitary environment and ensure the safety of all our patients.

We will continue to uphold our high clinical and sanitation standards. Our practitioners and staff are well versed in routine cleaning procedures to ensure that they are comprehensive and appropriate. These practices include:

  • Disinfectant and wipe down of treatment surfaces after each patient
  • Thorough daily cleaning of all high touch areas with high grade disinfectant, including reception surfaces, door handles, and treatment areas
  • Alterations to reception area to maintain 1.5m “social distancing”
  • Hand washing facilities are available in the bathrooms and hand sanitisers are placed in each treatment room and at the front reception counter. How To Hand rub and Hand Wash from the World Health Organisation (WHO).

We look forward to seeing you in the clinic to continue achieving your health and treatment goals.
